UzhNU starts cooperation with the Steinbeis Center for Technology Transfer

The rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka and Jürgen Reitzner, the Director of the Steinbeis Center for Technology Transfer signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Uzhgorod National University and the Steinbeis Center for Technology Transfer.

The signing took place in the framework of the International conference on attraction of financial resources of the EU that is being held at UzhNU.

"The signing of the memorandum will contribute to the implementation of our scientists' ideas in practical life, business projects. Such cooperation will also promote our university - Volodymyr Smolanka said, welcoming the participants. - Our partners will know more about us and will be able to offer UzhNU interesting projects."

The rector also added that participation in international conferences gives the university specialists more experience, primarily in the area of cooperation not only with scientific institutions, but also businesses.

Jürgen Reitzner noted that the branch of the Steinbeis Center for Technology Transfer in UzhNU will be the first one in Ukraine. The Center currently operates in Japan, Brazil, India, USA and Romania. "You will become our partners in the projects that we implement," - Jürgen Reitzner said.
