The ski season at the "Dragobrat" kicks off on Monday
The damaged dirt road leading to the ski resort "Dragobrat" in Rakhiv region will not prevent the opening of this year's ski season.
Recall that on November 21 due to a sharp raising of water level, the mountain stream "Dragobrat" went out of the banks and damaged about 700 meters of the road. Now, the ski resort can be reached by SUV via three different routes, but the damaged road is considered the shortest and the best. Immediately after the disaster, district authorities and owners of the "Dragobrat" tourist facilities began the restoration work. The District State Administration provided heavy machinery, and entrepreneurs raised the necessary funds for materials. As of Friday, more than 400 meters of the damaged road dressing has been restored, heavy machinery is adjusting the channel and strengthening the banks of the stream. The work continues, so by the end of the week the traffic on trhe "main" road will have been restored.
