The additional import fee is abolished as of January 1

The Law of Ukraine dd. December 24, 2015 № 912-VIII "On measures to stimulate foreign trade activities", which abolished the import fee, came into force on January 1, 2016. Recall that the additional import fee at the rates of 5 or 10 percent was being levied until the end of 2015 on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine under the import customs regime, regardless of country of origin of the goods and agreements on free trade concluded by Ukraine, under the Law of Ukraine dd. December 28th, 2014 № 73-VIII "On measures to stabilize the balance of payments of Ukraine in accordance with Article XII of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994", as amended.
