"Say 'oink'!". Landfill in Uzhgorod - out of the blue (Photofacts)
It seems, that in and around our city, there still lives the category of people who consider it their sacred duty to turn the place they live in into a pigsty.
That's what happened in one of the neighborhoods of the city - Chelyuskintsi Street, near the College of Arts.
A few months ago, in response to continued complaints of the residents, the services removed the container yard from there. The garbage would spread over a large area and it looked very untidy.
Thus, the residents of nearby buildings received a new container yard protected with metal screens some dozen meters away. But, it seems that for some people order is very inconvinient - another dump has appeared at the same spot.
Partly, it is the fault of either the local housing office or other "enthusiasts" who left a bunch of branches after pruning and did not remove it in time. It is around this pile of branches that a new landfill began to form - people put their bags of garbage onto the pile. It is possible that residents of Mynai also contributed to the emergence of the new landfill by throwing their waste at the old site on their way to the city.
In any case, we would like "to say hi" to the pig people, as well as to the services responsible for cleaning in the neighbourhood - no matter who is at fault, but they have to clean it...
