Rakhiv district: rescuers helped a skier who had gotten lost

The Rescue Service "101" received the information that, while skiing in the forest on the mountain Drahobrat in Rakhiv district, a 27-year-old resident of Dnipropetrovsk had gotten lost.

Equipment and 6 officers of Rakhiv and Yasinya mountain search and rescue units were engaged in the search and rescue operation. At 19:30, the lost skier was found and taken to the camp site where he stayed. His state of health is satisfactory, so medical aid was not provided to him.

The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region appeals to tourists and residents of the region: when going to the mountains, be sure to register in mountain search and rescue departments; choose only well-expored routes; consider your physical condition and weather conditions.
