The album book of Victoria Ivleva is a direct view of events without fear and hypocrisy. For Ukrainian readers, it will be a joyous discovery that thoughts and feelings of the Russian journalist and photographer to such an extent concide with their understanding and pain.
Victoria is a person who does not believe in stereotypes that divide people, but in equality of everything that exists. She opposes false propagande with her own views born from the experience of meeting with people in the Donbas and in Poltava, Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Zhytomyr, in conversations with children whose voices and letters are the keynote in this book.
The journey to Ukraine in spring 2014 resulted in this book – the book about the possibility of understanding and reconciliation, the readiness to ask forgiveness, hope and great responsibility.
