“New Year Uvyvanets” will be the final musical chord of the old year at the Regional Philharmonic

"New Year Uvyvanets" – the concert of the Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir, which will take place on December 27, at 16.00, under the project "Weekend Music" – will be the final musical chord of the old year at the Regional Philharmonic.

Uvyvanets is not some exquisite festive dish, but a unique Transcarpathian folk dance decorating the repertoire of our leading collective since the first days of its existence.

So, this time the concert program focuses on dance group of the Transcarpathian folk choir. 

Christmas carols and Transcarpathian folk songs will be performed by People’s Artist of Ukraine Petro Matiy and soloists of the Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir accompanied by orchestra.

The organizers also promise to add some surprises to this dance and song extravaganza. So, the last Sunday evening of the old year is going to be bright and memorable for visitors of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.
