In Transcarpathia, border guards detained three "divers"

Three citizens of Ukraine were detained yesterday in Transcarpathia, 50 meters from the Romanian border, by border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment.

The men, two of whom were wearing diving suits, and another one - a wet clothes, were detained by the border patrol of the department "Solotvyno" together with the district inspector of the Border Guard Service. The detainees identified themselves as citizens of Ukraine, but could not confirm it with documents, and could not explain the reasons of being near the border.

Administrative and procedural documents against the citizens were drawn up. Also, in the course of filtration and verification measures, it was found out that one of the detainees was wanted for committing a crime under Art. 185-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft). That citizen was delivered to Rakhiv police station in Transcarpathian region.
