In Mizhhirya district, at the Synevyr pass, a retaining wall on a mountain road collapsed

At 12:25, the rescue service of Transcarpathia was reported about the collapse of a retaining wall on a mountain road. The incident occurred on the road Mizhhirya-Kolochava-Bushtyno, at the Synevyr pass.

At the scene of the incident, the special commission, including representatives of the 4th State Fire and Rescue Unit, found out that the length of the collapsed section is 40 m. The height of the retaining wall was 6 meters. Concrete blocks measuring approximately 3x3 meters fell on the roadbed.

Currently, vehicular traffic is partially restricted to one lane. The emergency crew of the road service is working at the site to eliminate the aftermath of the collapse.
