Five Turkish citizens were detained yesterday in the evening by officers of the State Border Guard Service and the National Police in the course of checking operational information of the Mukachevo Detachment units.
Law enforcement officers detected the violators moving towards Hungary in the area of the department "Luzhanka" using a night vision device. During the arrest, one of the "travelers" tried to escape, but border guards detained him immediately. The men had no documents on them. Four of them identified themselves as citizens of Turkey, and one – as a citizen of Austria, also a native of Turkey.
The detainees were delivered to the Department of the Border Guard Service "Luzhanka" for filtration and verification activities and preparation of administrative and procedural documents, their further fate will be determine by court.
