Cigarettes and a tractor worth almost 452,000 UAH did not get to the EU (PHOTOS)
Customs and border guard squad found 500 packs of tobacco products hidden from customs control.
Thus, on Dec. 2, 2015, a tractor "RENAULT MAGNUM" with a semitrailer "KOGEL SN24" carrying seamless stainless pipes arrived at the customs control area of the customs post "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs office. The vehicle was driven by a citizen of Ukraine.
The driver filed for customs control the registration certificate for the tractor, the semitrailer and cargo shipping documents.
During customs and border control and inspection of the vehicle, they found tobacco products that had not been declared by the driver during the oral survey and were hidden from customs control, namely:
1) domestically made cigarettes with excise stamps of Ukraine "Marlboro Gold" in total amount of 305 packs;
2) domestically made cigarettes with excise stamps of Ukraine "Marlboro" in total amount of 195 packs.
The tobacco products were in structural cavities of the tractor, that had been previously subjected to dismantling.
In the explanation, the driver admitted that the found goods were his property and that he had concealed the cigarettes himself.
Thus, the citizen of Ukraine committed actions aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control, ie using specially manufactured caches hindering identification of such goods.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
The report on violation of customs regulations was drawn up, the cigarettes worth 11,000 UAH and the tractor "RENAULT MAGNUM" made in 2007 worth 452,989 UAH were seized.
