Children of Transcarpathian soldiers were congratulated on the upcoming holidays with fairy tales, cartoons and gifts

On December 23, a holiday for the children of Transcarpathian soldiers, and kids from disadvantaged families was organized in Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts.

Diplomats, government officials and military leaders congratulated children and their parents on the approaching New Year and Christmas holidays. In particular, the consul of Hungary in Uzhgorod Aron Cech said that Hungarians root for integration of Ukraine into the EU, and also they are very concerned about the war and use every opportunity to give the neighbors both moral and material support. As for the children of Transcarpathian soldiers, with the support of the Consulate, many of them this year rested in Hungary near the Balaton Lake and other beautiful places. The Consul expressed his intention to continue this program with the participation of the children present.

In turn, Mykola Zhuravlev presented the consulate representative the letter of gratitude for the assistance to Transcarpathian soldiers. Uzhgorod military commissar also thanked the families of the soldiers, spouses and especially children, who have to spent their favorite family holidays without parents.

Young directors of the College entertained the kids with a Christmas tale, and students-choreographers - with a fragment of the famous cartoon "Shrek".
