Yesterday, border guards of the department "Chop" together with representatives of the customs office prevented illegal transportation of amber to Hungary.

A citizen of Serbia following to Hungary in a train "Kyiv - Budapest" drew the attention of law enforcers. During the customs inspection, the joint inspection team found goods prohibited for export from Ukraine. In particular, a brown precious stone of natural origin weighing more than 111 g, an amber necklace weighing more than 20 g, and ten leaflets from 1940s produced in Germany with images on the subject of the "Third Reich".

The found items were seized by customs workers and sent for examination.
