Border guard found ammunition that a Slovak citizen tried to import to Ukraine

Yesterday, December 3, at the checkpoint "Maly Berezny", border guards prevented the illegal import of rounds for hunting weapons into Ukraine.

Thus, a car "Renault" driven by a citizen of Slovakia was entering Ukraine. During the border and customs procedures, a border guard dog trained to search for weapons and ammunition "reacted" to the car. The reaction of the dog led to joint border guard and customs in-depth inspection.

During the inspection, they found items banned for import to Ukraine, namely 7 cartridges for a hunting rifle marked on the bottom of the barrel "[email protected] 7x57", which were in the glove box of the car. The citizen of Slovakia explained that the found items were his property and used by him for hunting.

The found ammunition was seized and evaluated at 211 UAH.
