A 43-year-old man during a fire in Tyachiv district

In the morning of January 4, a fire occurred in the village of Ruske Pole in Tyachiv district. On Tereshkova street, a one-storey house, where a single 43-year-old man lived, caught fire. The fire originated in one of the rooms of the house. Neighbors noticed the fire, when flames had engulfed the roof of the building. At 4:55 they called the Rescue Service "101".

Two firefighter crews - one fire truck from the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Tyachiv and one from the local fire brigade of the village of Teresva - were sent at the scene. At 5:25, the firefighters managed to localize the fire and at 6:05, to completely eliminate it. In one of the rooms of the house, the rescuers found the body of the 43-year-old owner on his bed.

The authorities are finding out the cause of the fire. The damages are also being established as the fire destroyed the house and household items and damaged 5 sq. m. of the roof of a street facility.
