Transcarpathian budget received just under 90 million for forest, water and mineral resources

The tax office reported how much Transcarpathian treasury receives for the natural resources of the region.

The natural resources have brought to Transcarpathia budget over UAH 87 million 360 thousand. This amount of rent payments was transferred to the budget during seven months in 2015 by taxpayers of Transcarpathian region. The revenues comprise of such payments as rental fees for special use of forest resources, the fee for special use of water and payment for subsoil use.

It should be noted that the largest share of these payments to the consolidated budget was received from rent payments for subsoil use - more than UAH 54 million 560 thousand. In total, there are 446 registered taxpayers in the region that pay this rent.   Thus, in Svalyava district alone, more than UAH 3 million was paid for extraction of mineral water. However, the largest amount of the rent for use of subsoil accounts for gas production - almost UAH 49 million.       

The second largest rent payment is the rent for special use of forest resources, which for seven months in 2015 brought to the budget more than UAH 28 million 300 thousand. In particular, 102 payers using forest resources are registered in the region. The largest amount of this payment came from taxpayers of Rakhiv, Tyachiv and Mizhhirya districts.

As for the rent for special use of water, the consolidated budget in January-July this year received more than UAH 4 million 450 thousand of this payment. The number of payers of this rent in the region is 1931. The largest amount for the use of water was paid in Svalyava district.
