The largest amounts of industrial products are sold in Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district (table)

More than half the volume of the industrial products sold in Transcarpathia accounts for Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district 

The Department of Statistics in Transcarpathian region published figures on the economic and social situation in Transcarpathia in the first half of 2015. According to the statistics, more than half of the volume of the industrial products sold in the region accounts for Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district. In Uzhgorod, the figure is 21.5%, while in Uzhgorod district it is 32.4%. They are followed by Mukachevo (12.2%), Vynogradiv district (6.9%) and Perechyn district (6.6%). In some districts, the volume of sales is less than 1 percent: Khust – 0.8%, Mizhhirya – 0.4%, Volovets – 0.2%.

– These figures show which districts produce more – the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal said. – Where they produce nothing, they sell nothing. And where there are investments, the sales figures are appropriate. In Transcarpathia, it is in Uzhgorod district and the city of Uzhgorod.
