The Commission on the Mukachevo events will resume its work

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine is checking the involvement of MP from the group "Will of the People" Mykhailo Lanyo in contraband flows in Transcarpathian region. 

"I want once again to assure the members of the commission that the activities of the so-called "group of Lanyo" and the reasons for this conflict are being checked. We have sent orders from law enforcement agencies to operational units in order to obtain all the information and facts of detection of counterfeit products in order to find out facts of contraband and information on the involvement of representatives of the so-called "group of Lanyo" in this activity, - the senior investigator for particularly important cases of the Prosecutor General Andriy Popov said at the meeting of the Temporary Investigative Commission to investigate the circumstances of the conflict in Transcarpathian region, the Radio Svoboda reports.

Also, recall that the General Prosecutor's Office is checking the presence of snipers during the firefight in Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region. 

At the meeting of August 5, the temporary investigative commission decided to send several members of the commission to Transcarpathia to clarify additional circumstances of the conflict. Thus, on August 18-20, Andriy Teteruk ("People's Front"), Mykhailo Papiyev ("Opposition bloc"), Ivan Krulko ("Batkivshchyna"), Valery Patskan ("PPB"), Taras Pastukh ("Samopomich"), Igor Mosiychuk ("Radical Party") and the chairman of the commission Mykola Palamarchuk ("PPB") will come to Mukachevo.

It is expected that the final report of the temporary investigative commission to investigate the circumstances of the conflict in Transcarpathian region will be published in September.
