The bridges that unite (Announcement)
The opening of the traveling exhibition "Bridges, epochs, Budapest" will take place on September 8, 2015. at 17.00 in the city of Uzhgorod, in the showroom of the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
The traveling exhibition consists of 16 "roll-up" boards that are easily transported and installed. The collection reflects the 200 year history of the city of Budapest and Pest-Buda through the history of its bridges. The subtitle of the exhibition - City, river, bridge, history - reflects the intention to show at the exhibition the history of the city, country and culture that strengthens the image of the country, attracts tourists and is a Central European history.
The exhibits gathered from the collections of museums in the capital are divided into several groups by epochs. Each group has its own emblem.
The opening ceremony will be attended by a representative of the Consulate General of Hungary in the city of Uzhgorod, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Department of Culture Yuriy Hleba, Modosh Peter, writer, curator of the Foundation "European tour" and Vari Fabian Laszlo, poet, winner of Attila József prize.
