Moskal introduced the head of Mizhhirya District State Administration
By the order of the President of Ukraine Vasyl Khudynets is appointed the head of Mizhhirya District State Administration. The new head of the district was introduced to activists by Hennadiy Moskal.
The economic situation in mountainous Mizhhirya district one of the most difficult in the region. This is clearly evidenced by the figures announced at the presentation. The tax base is shrinking, currently only 4,500 people are officially employed in the district (last year, there were 5,100, the decline is 12 percent). The district road building company has three-month arrears of wages, and in the medical field, without additional funding, the supply of medicines will end in a month, and then - food for patients (in total, by the end of the year, the medical sector needs one million hryvnia). There are no vaccines against tuberculosis, serum from the poison and rabies, so if a person is bitten by a serpent, doctors will be able to provide only symptomatic treatment.
- The health care can be financed only from the stabilization fund, - H. Moskal said. - We will request allocation of funds from Kyiv, but we also must work on the ground. The lion's share of revenues to local budgets is a tax on personal income. It is therefore necessary to create new jobs and attract investment. The most promising for Mizhhirya district is the tourism industry.
In the second half of the meeting, H.Moskal raised the topic decommunisation. As it turned out, in Mizhhirya, Kolochava and V.Bystre, there still streets like Soviet, Kolkhoz, Chkalov, Shchors etc. The head of the region called village and town heads to not delay with their renaming and asked them to perpetuate the ATO participants killed in the Donbas in the new street names.
