Uzhgorod battalion of the National Guard arranged a holiday for orphans.
Today, fifty orphans from Perechyn boarding school and the orphanage in the village of Domboky in Mukachevo district came to Uzhgorod battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine for a tour. All of them are now resting in the children's camp "Karpaty" in Perechyn district.
The tour was organized by the criminal police for children. Young visitors were welcomed by the chief of the police in Transcarpathian region, police colonel Serhiy Knyazev.
They had an interesting excursion in the battalion quaters, listened to an explosive expert and watched show of dog handlers and soldiers of the special purpose battalion. However, the greatest interest, especially among boys, was caused by models of firearms. At the end of the tour, the children tried real soldier porridge and other dishes cooked on the field kitchen. Also, they received gifts from the police.
Many teens expressed a desire to serve in the police themselves.
