In Transcarpathia, border guards detained three immigrants from Sri Lanka

Three "travelers" from Sri Lanka, who were trying to get to the Hungary, were arrested last night by border guards of the department "Horonhlab" of the Mukachevo Detachment.

Border guards were informed about two males and a female near the village of Lypovo in Transcarpathia by a local resident. Border guards immediately arrived at the scene to verify the information and to prevent illegal border crossing. Subsequently, three unknown persons were detained near the state border.  During the inspection, it turned out that they did not have documents, but they told that they all came from Sri Lanka.

Border guards informed their Hungarian colleagues about the detention of illegal immigrants. The detainees were taken to the border guard unit for identification and preparation of procedural documents.
