"I think I will no longer be blamed for not letting young Transcarpathians play"

In the match of the 6th round of the championship of Ukraine, Uzhgorod "Goverla" played at home with Dniprodzerzhinsk "Stal" - 0:0. Here are post-match comments of the head coach of "Goverla" from the official website of the Uzhgorod team.

"Stal" is a difficult opponent. This is one of the few teams that can make guick counterattacks.    We had analyzed the games of the opponent and worked hard to neutralize this strength. However I am surprised that our center backs lost many high balls to the opponents. Due to poor defence, the ball would not reach the attackers, defenders were more occupied with fighting for the ball than delivering it to the attackers.     But I am glad that for the first time in the season, we did not concede a goal.

I think that after the match of youth teams, I will no longer be blamed for not letting young local players play. After the match with the junior team of "Stal", local fans came up to me and said that they understood me and that there were no good local players. In order to ensure development of young players, we need to build an infrastructure, to create a team or several teams of the second league so that they have the opportunity to gain experience and reach the level of the Premier League.
