Firefighters told the teenagers about their profession and daily duties and tasks assigned to them. Then, they explained the basic rules of safety: on the street, at home, at rest and at school. The participants of the event examined a fire truck and learned about its equipment. Rescuers demonstrated hydraulic shears, which they use to evacuate victims of road accidents, showed respiratory and eye protection devices used during dense smoke on fires and more.

And the bravest ones could try themselves as rescuers - cut a metal rod using hydraulic shears, try on a special suit and a mask, and finally to extinguish a simulated fire.

All the participants were enthusiastically listening to rescuers, answering questions, took active part in competitions, thus in such a fun and friendly atmosphere time passed quickly, the press service of the regional office of the State Emergencies Service informed.
