The State Border Guard Service in coordination with other law enforcement and border guard agencies of neighboring countries continues to implement a series of measures aimed at countering illegal migration on the state border. In general, as part of the operation "Frontier-2015", border guards have detained more than 600 migrants, most of whom tried to cross the state border with EU countries.

One group was detained at the site of the department "Vylok" of the Mukachevo Detachment. After receiving information about the movement of unknown persons, border patrols immediately were sent there. The "travelers" were 11 citizens of Afghanistan. They were stopped 700 meters to the border.

The other offenders were stopped by border guards of the department "Horonhlab" of the same detachment. The response team detained two citizens of Georgia at 1000 meters from the border.

Currently, filtration activities are being implemented and the circumstances and the persons, who helped illegal migrants in their journey, are being established .
