A Russian was not allowed to Europe
Last night, border guards of the Border Guard Service department "Huta" (Chop border guard detachment) detained a Russian citizen without documents.
The first to notice the stranger 5 km from the border were local residents who reported that to border guards. Hiding in the forest near the tourist center, the offender was moving towards Slovakia. During the detention, border guards engaged a search dog which also helped find out where the illegal immigrant came from and whether he was alone.
Later, the Russian told that he had been staying in Ukraine since 2010, because here it is better than in Russia. He works in tourism and environment protection.
It should be noted that illegal immigrants almost every time throw their documents away before or while trying to get to Europe. If they are caught, the lack of documents would give them a little more time to stay in Ukraine or a neighboring country. But border guards often find them, the press service of the Chop border guard detachment informs.
