A new "paratrooper" in Transcarpathia? This time, a customs officer
The appointments initiated by the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal continue in Transcarpathia. Often, offices are taken be people who are not directly related to our region. They are popularly called "paratroopers" - that is, those that were "dropped" or came down "from the sky". The idea is that being free from influences of local forces they should restore order. Now rumors are spreading that the chief customs officer is next in line.
Thus, the publication "Zakarpattya online", citing its own sources, reports that Palaniychuk Anatoly, who until recently was serving as the Acting Head of the STI in Chernivtsi, will become the new head of the Transcarpathian customs office.
The appointment was lobbied by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal, who himself comes from Bukovina.
"The indirect confirmation of this information is the fact that on August 2 Anatoly Palaniychuk unexpectedly announced his resignation. Journalists got to know from their own sources that A. Palaniychuk plans to go to work at the customs office," - the Transcarpathian publication informed.
Anatoly Palaniychuk worked as the head of Chernivtsi tax office for exactly 16 months. Previously, he worked in senior positions in the administration of the tax police, headed the tax office in Kelmenetsi district, was the first deputy head of the State Tax Administration in Chernivtsi region.
Currently, this information is not officially confirmed.
