"Zakarpathaz" PJSC finished 2014 with 6.2 million hryvnia loss
The "Zakarpathaz" PJSC held Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on April 4, 2015. The meeting was attended by shareholders owning 76.79% of the voting shares. The meeting approved the financial report of the company, according to which the company finished 2014 with a net loss of 6.2 million hryvnia.
In 2014, the company transported 534 million cubic meters of natural gas, which is 119 million cubiv meters or 18% less than for the same period of 2013. Due to the significant decrease in natural gas transportation, the significant increase in natural gas prices (the price of gas changed 5 times during 2014) and discontinuation and reduction of production at the most energy-intensive industrial companies in the region, the company received about 55 2 million hryvnia less of revenue from transportation and supply of gas. Total increase of cost of almost all materials, fuel and equipment that are essential to ensure ongoing business also affected the performance of the enterprise.
After analyzing the results of the company activity, the shareholders acknowledged the work of the Board, Supervisory Board and the Audit Commission as satisfactory and approved the report and the balance sheet of the company for 2014.
Despite the difficult financial situation, in 2014, the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC invested 8 million hryvnia in the modernization of gas pipelines and improvement of gas accounting. 1.6 million hryvnia was used for installation of domestic gas meters, the investment program is executed at 45%.
