Writers are going to heal soldiers

Just now, the art team has departed from Uzhgorod to the military hospital in Mukachevo. Not with empty hands, but with a poetic and musical program for soldiers who are now being treated in the medical institution.

As the head of the Transcarpathian branch of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine Vasyl Husti told the Uzhgorod.in, he was joined by writers Petro Khodanych, Mykhailo Roshko, Volodymyr Tovtyn. They were also joined by the director of the publishing house "Karpaty" Victor Braslavets and the artist of the Regional Philharmonics Petro Matiy with the accompanist Mykhailo Rybalko.

The event takes place within the campaign "Healing Word", which was once co-founded by the already mentioned writers' group and the Department of Culture of the RSA. Writers and artists have already visited several hospitals, boarding schools in the region. And now the hospital. "Some help the Army with money, others - with food. We decided to support our men with word. Because word heals" - Vasyl Husti explained.
