Vyacheslav Grozny: “FFU could reduce requirements for clubs”

The head coach of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Vyacheslav Grozny proposed a reform of the championship of Ukraine.

– Schedule should be flexible. How can we know before the season, which teams will play in the international competition in the spring? It is impossible. It is necessary to adjust the schedule after each stage of European competitions. I suggested that the championship should be resumed in mid-March and the spring part of the season should start with matches of 1/4 finals of the cup.

I have a lot of proposals on the regulations: to return to 16 teams of the Premier League by adding the two best teams of the first league, to cancel the limit on foreign players and mandatory tax for them.

To initiate referee exchange: to send our referees for one year to judge other championships, and to have our championship judged only by foreigners. This would eliminate a lot of issues. We have qualified referees, they can judge, they are well trained, but it is important that they are unbiased. Abroad, our referees could do very well.

I believe that, due to the situation in the country, there should be disciplinary vacation for certification of the clubs. Now, not all clubs are able to perform the contracts. There should be debt restructuring, extention of terms, and the certification can be made after this championship, or even the next one. I think FFU could reduce requirements for clubs, because we can lose many teams in the Premier League – the expert said in an interview with the "UF".
