Uzhgorod residents are called to clean Uzhgorod power on Maundy Thursday

On Maundy Thursday, April 9, at 10.00, there will be the Uzhgorod City Council session, where they plan to privatize under non-transparent procedures 74 properties owned by the community of the regional center of Transcarpathia. Among them, there are architectural monuments of local importance - the Zakarpattya online wrote.

It is also planned to consider an extremely important issue for the city regarding early dismissal of the first deputy mayor of Uzhgorod Ivan Voloshin.

"Uzhgorod residents! Let us not be indifferent! Come on Maundy Thursday at the session of the City Council at 9-30. It is time to clean the city from looters" - activists call on the page of the community "Euromaidan Uzhgorod" in the social network facebook.

Meanwhile, as announced today after the meeting of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council by the Mayor Victor Pogorelov, 21 properties from the list of those to go for the privatization were removed from the draft decision under experts' opinion. However, this does not remove all other threats to the regional center from the activity of the current government.
