Ukrainians have been promised an oppportunity to execute online transactions on the sale of land

The State Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Service plans to radically improve the quality of services provided to people.

This was said in an interview to the ZN.UA. by the head of the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Service Maxim Martyniuk appointed to this position in March 2015.

"Qualitative leap in services is definitely a priority because it also implies fight against corruption. People should not flinch when they have to deal with the State Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Service. Services will be much simplified, compressed in time, depersonalized" - Martyniuk promised.

One of the first tasks, according to him, is extraterritoriality.

"For example, I have a plot of land in Vinnytsia region, and now that I have moved to Kyiv, I, for example, want to sell it. To formalize the agreement, now I have to go to Vinnytsia to the cadastre registrar to take an extract at a notary. It is irrational, particularly if both the buyer and the seller are, for example, in Kyiv" - Martyniuk described the plans.

It is expected that the maximum number of administrative services provided by the State Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Service will be converted into electronic form.

"You can either go to the cadastre registrar, or formalize everything online. What do you think we will do? It's very simple, we'll give people both options!" - the official promised.

He said that for the first two days, he had established working groups for all areas and set the task of maximum simplification of procedures.
