In the town of Solotvyno in Tyachiv district, the repair of the road is almost completed. It runs from the town center and leads to its two schools, and local residents for years were complaining about the condition of the road (or rather, almost complete absence of it).

During the meeting with citizens in Solotvyno on March 20, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration determined how the road could be repaired and initiated the process to address this issue through the town council session. Especially since there were necessary funds in the budget - they only had to take the initiative and find a mechanism.

Then, the head of the region instructed the district head Vasyl Yovdiy to control the fundraising, organization and implementation of the work. And by Easter, as promised by Vasyl Hubal, the road was ready. This week, they are finishing the construction of sidewalks.

Also, the working group established by the order of the head of the RSA, is looking for ways to address other urgent issues in the town. In particular, those are gas and water supply. As for the situation with the salt mine and sinkholes formed on its territory, the regional authorities appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers to respond to the situation and to provide funds for conservation and research work for a comprehensive solution.

By the way, on Friday, April 24, there will be an extraordinary session of Tyachiv District Council, where, among other issues, they plan to approve the community appeal to the government - to provide fund for the needs related to the situation in the salt mine.
