The EC will allocate 110 million euros for small and medium business in Ukraine

As part of the 11 billion aid package, the EU will provide 110 million euros to support small and medium businesses.

This is stated in the report of the European Commission.

In particular, 70 million euros will be allocated under the special package of measures to support the private sector, which provides for support to small and medium enterprises in different regions of Ukraine, creation of jobs, and more.

"These measures are a response to the urgent need to support the reconstruction and development of Ukrainian economy", – the statement reads.

In addition, this package will be extended with loan guarantees in the amount of 40 million euros as part of the Neighbourhood Investment Facility.

"The EU is contributing to economic recovery, particularly in the regions most affected by the need to integrate internally displaced persons" – the report quotes the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Gan.

Earlier, the aid package of 110 million euros was mentioned by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the EU Konstantin Eliseev.
