At night to April 11, near the concrete sign "Uzhgorod" at the entrance to the regional center of Transcarpathia, there was an accident involving a vehicle that was delivering an ATV to Uzhgorod. At first, the police classified the incident as a fatal accident. But later, during the autopsy, two bullets were found in the body of the resident of Kyiv born in 1987.
As exclusively reported to the Zakarpattya online by the NGO "Special Control", a crime re-enactment had been performed at the scene of the crime which was attended by the Chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Serhiy Sharanych.
The motives of the murder, which happened around 3 am, are not clear: the killers did not take money from the glove compartment, and therefore it was not a murder with the intent of robbery. Probably, the resident of Kyiv was carrying something important that the killers wanted.
According to the sources, after the murder, the body was put in the car, the foot was put on the gas pedal, then the car drove into a ditch just few dozens meters away from the "Uzhgorod" sign. It is yet unknown whether this version is true.
