NBU obliged banks to disclose information about their owners by April 30

The National Bank of Ukraine has obliged banks to publish annual consolidated financial statements for 2014 with the auditor's report and information about the owners in periodicals or on the Internet by April 30.

This is stated in the regulator's letter to commercial banks dated April 21, the text of which was published by the "UNIAN".

"The bank shall not later than April 30 of the year following the reporting one publish annual financial statements and annual consolidated financial statements together with the auditor's report, and the information, in the extent determined by the National Bank, about the owners of substantial interest in the bank by publication in journals and / or distribution of individual publications or posting on the Internet" - the letter of the NBU states.

As previously reported, the banking system of Ukraine in 2014 suffered UAH 52.966 billion of losses, in particular 52 of 163 Ukrainian banks, that were active as of the beginning of this year, finished the year with losses.

In 2014 and in January-April of 2015, the National Bank declared insolvent 49 banks.
