"Days of Ukraine" in Slovakia continue

On April 14, the "Days of Ukraine" launched in the Slovak city of Kosice. Today, the first Slovak-Ukrainian business forum "SUBF-2015" and a trade fair takes place.

They are organized by the Eastern Slovak Investment Agency (VIA) in cooperation with the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO), Kosice self-governing territory, the city of Kosice and Ukrainian partner "Kratos" LLC (Krivoy Rog). 

All major events are held in the "Culture Park" - a holistic cultural complex, located in the territory of the former military camp.

The delegation of Transcarpathian region actively participated in these events and will present investment and export-import opportunities of Transcarpathia at the forum. A part of the Slovak-Ukrainian business forum will be an exhibition at which businesses from Slovakia and Ukraine will be able to show their export and import opportunities.


This forum has official support from the Government of Ukraine, in particular the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

On Monday, there was a meeting of representatives of government circles from Slovak Republic and Ukraine. The event was attended by the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Pavol Pavlis, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Slovak Republic Oleg Havashi, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ruslan Korzh, the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Mykhailo Popovich, the Deputy Governor Mykhailo Rivis, Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov.

After that, the participants of the meeting took part in the opening of the Slovak-Ukrainian business forum "SUBF-2015".


At the forum, there will be speeches of dozens of experts from the EU, the opportunity to talk with European businessmen and officials, to establish mutually beneficial contacts, to see the exhibition, to get useful information and interesting contacts.

Tomorrow, the "Days of Ukraine" will be held under the slogan "Welcome to Transcarpathia!" - the whole program of the day will be dedicated to our land.
