Speaking on the activities of the Transcarpathian customs office, Vadim Symchera noted that despite certain problems in the economy, there has been no outflow of economic operators that carry out foreign trade operations at the customs office. It is attributed to the geographical location of the customs office, the presence of a significant number of checkpoints on the state border, transport logistics.

- During January-April this year, we have noted the increase in the share of taxes paid by foreign trade entities who are not registered with the office - such entities have paid more than UAH 582 million for customs clearance of goods. This represents 65.4% of total transfers. In 2014 the volume of such taxes accounted for over UAH 283 million, representing 57.3% of total transfers, - Vadim Symchera said.

According to him, as a result of close cooperation between the customs office and the trade community, since the beginning of the year over UAH 890.5 million of taxes has been transferred to the state budget, and the total volume of transfers in January-April this year is higher that that for the same period of 2014 by 80% or UAH 395 8 million.
