Before the scandalous session, Uzhgorod city council is filled dozens of police officers
In a few minutes, the next plenary session of the City Council will begin in Uzhgorod.
Therefore, many residents and activists have gathered in front of the building, and there are already dozens of police officers in the corridors.
Whenever somebody tried to take their photo, the police officers would immediately hide their faces and flee from camera - the Holos Karpat writes.
Recall that at the today's session, deputies will consider issues of the dissmissal of the First Deputy Mayor Ivan Voloshin, replacement of the members of the City Executive Committee and the privatization of 70 facilities owned by the city.
However in a comment to one of the Transcarpathian online publications, the secretary of Uzhgorod city council Bogdan Andriyiv said that the issue of the privatization of public property will be removed from the agenda because of protests in the society and inadequate preparation of the draft decision.
According to media reports, in addition to dismissal of Voloshin, social activists plan to demand to dismiss the Deputy Mayor Bogdan Andriyiv and even Victor Pogorelov himself.
