Children of Uzhgorod schools spent the April day covered in chocolate, pastry and colorful candied peel. For them, a weekday turned into a chocolate extravaganza, which had serious patriotic significance. A master class in Easter cake baking and chocolate Easter egg making was held for children world-known Transcarpathian confectioner Valentin Shtefanyo. Baking of Easter cakes soldiers not only distracted children from the pressing problems and gave them incredible positive mood.
"This is a way to pass a piece of warmth for our heroes, the way that children will remember for a lifetime!" – Boris Kondratiuk, the head of the NGO "Transcarpathian community" said. "Not many businessmen are actually ready to help our men at war and to give so much time for that. It is not the first event that we held with Valentin, and each time we are happy with the results!" – Mr. Boris said.
In total, the master class was attended by 12 children whose parents are defending the fatherland on the front. The chocolate show was also a pleasant surprise for children from the east. Co-organizer of the event was the Department of Education of Uzhgorod. They often hold various events for children.
Both Valentin and pupils of Uzhgorod schools decorated cakes not only with nuts and raisins. Without exaggeration, they added their love to the products. And the positive atmosphere, that prevailed in the studio, will definitely warm the soldiers on the front line.
Children as no one else understand how soldiers need support. They are proud to be able to give them a piece of their souls. And tomorrow, the Easter cakes will be handed over to the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers, and together with another volunteer support they will be delivered to the war zone.
