Officials of Khust District State Administration illegally transferred to private ownership more than 13 hectares of land
As a result of the inspection at the district administration, Khust Interdistrict Prosecutors found out that officials in violation of Art. 118 of the Land Code of Ukraine, in 2006 had arbitrarily drawn up and issued illegal state acts for over 13 hectares of land.
According to the prosecutor of Khust interdistrict prosecution office Petro Bobynych, during the inspection they found out that in May 2006, the head of Khust district state administration issued the order to give permission for development of the project of land allocation in the district. However, no order to transfer the land into the ownership was given.
Despite that, officials of the district state administration, on the basis of the order on land allocation, exceeding their official powers, illegally drawn up and issued a series of state acts to transfer over 13 hectares of land into private ownership.
Therefore, - the prosecutor concluded - Khust Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office registered the appropriate information in the URPI, and initiated criminal proceedings against officers of Khust district state administration under Part 2 of Art. 364 (abuse of power or position) of Part 2 of Art.366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery). Pre-trial investigation is commissioned to the investigation department of Khust City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Transcarpathian region.
