Offenders failed to hide from border guards' thermal viewer

Two men, who had illegally entered to Ukraine from Hungary, were detained by Chop border guards using technical means of border guarding.

During the monitoring of Ukrainian-Hungarian border, on the the area of the "Salovka" department, two figures were detected through the lens of a remote controlled thermal imaging device. This fact became the signal for the task force to act, and within 10 minutes the unknown men were detained. They explained that they were citizens of Hungary, but had no documents.

The offenders were taken to the border guard unit in order to clarify the circumstances of the offense and draw up administrative and procedural documents. The decision on legal liability and further fate of detainees will be taken in court.
