Ukraine has received 500 million cubic meters of gas from Slovakia
Ukraine has received about 500 million cubic meters of gas from Slovakia since September 2.
Supplies in reverse mode have been carried out via the reconstructed Voyany-Uzhgorod pipeline, representative of the Eustream gas company operator Vagram Chuhuryan told RIA Novosti.
He said that gas supplies for six months will be accompanied with checks and improvments of the system, and on March 1, 2015, the pipeline will start operating at full capacity.
It is assumed that 27 million cubic meters of gas per day will be supplied to Ukraine.
As reported, Ukraine buys gas through Slovakia at 320-330 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
