Ukraine has found substitution for 60% of Russian gas

Ukraine can substitute up to 60% of Russian gas by importing fuel from Slovakia and elsewhere.

This was announced at the meeting of the government by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the UNIAN reported.

"In total, we can import 15 billion cubic meters, that is 60% of imported fuel. 10 billion cubic meters from Slovakia, 5 billion - from other sources. We have substituted 60% of Russian gas," - Yatsenyuk said.

He added that Ukraine has never paid and will never pay the Russian "Gazprom" 500 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
