Today, September 22, students of Uzhgorod Trade and Economics College joined hands to unite academic buildings of the institution under the yellow-blue flag.
One of them is on Kapitulna street and the other one is on Pravoslavna embankment. Students made human chain between the buildings across Teatralna Sq.
The week of the cycle Hotel and Travel Commission has started at the college. And its members supported the nationwide initiative with this flashmob.
In this way, they raised funds for the needs of Transcarpathian soldiers.
"Since the Uzh river symbolically divides the city into two sides – east and west – and our buildings are located on both the eastern and the western banks, our students decided to unite the buildings with a traditional flashmob – by holding each other’s hands. Thus, they united Ukraine, said that it is one country. For we are Ukrainians, we love our country and respect it," – the director of Uzhgorod Trade and Economic College Larisa Pavlyuk said.
