The delegation from Romania is visiting Transcarpathia
On Thursday, September 11, the first deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Andriy Serbaylo, the deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Mykhailo Rivis, heads of individual departments met with the Minister Delegate of Romania for Romanians everywhere Bogdan Stanojevic and the Consul General of Romania to Chernivtsi Eleonora Moldovan.
As discussed during the meeting, in Transcarpathia, there are more than 32 thousand Romanians, four regional national-cultural associations of the Romanian community, 12 Romanian schools and 2 mixed ones with the Romanian language of teaching. The parties agreed that the support for ethnic minorities in both countries is one of the priorities. They also noted the close cooperation that is established between our region and Maramures and Satu Mare regions in Romania.
They discussed the development of border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Romanian border, promising for road traffic: "Yablunivka - Remete", "Dilove - Valea Vişeului", "Bila Tserkva - Sighetu Marmației."
