On the border with Slovakia, "green berets" detained a family from Asia
Yesterday, Chop border guards detained a group of unknown persons trying to illegally cross the border to Slovakia.
Six people of Asian appearance were found by border guards of "Velyky Berezny" department. Three adults and three minors, who were not carrying any documents, told "Green Berets" that they were originally from Afghanistan. As it was found out later, they were all relatives - the family of five and a brother of the head of the family. Together, they wanted to feel "European lifestyle" in Austria.
In order to establish the circumstances of the offense and draft legal documents, the detainees were taken to the unit. Currently, they are being identified. The decision on legal liability and further fate of detainees will be taken in court.
By the way, during this year, border guards of the Chop detachment have detained 68 immigrants from Afghanistan.
