“Blitz” presented a new video (VIDEO)

The art group "Contemporary Dance Studio "Blitz" made a new video for their fans. The "fresh" work, as well as the previous three videos that were made at different times, were presented this week in the Transcarpathian Regional Puppet Theater "Bavka."   

The new video of the "Blitz" was inspired by the talented Ukrainian choreographer Kostyantin Tomilchenko who created the dance "First Date" for the Studio. This production will be presented in the video. The audience watched other videos of the CDS ​​"Blitz": "Interrupted Flight", "Life Line", "The Geometry of Hip-Hop."

According to Olena Kaminska, the head of the "Contemporary Dance Studio "Blitz", the video turned out to be unexpected and very interesting.      

The video was shot during one day in the hotel "Zakarpattya" six months ago. This work was the fourth for the Blitz. At the end of September, the presentation of another video of the choreographic production by Blitz is scheduled.

Vyacheslav Yegorov, the director of the clip "First Date" says that the key to making of the clip was not to lose the dance itself. "Because it is the language of the whole body – the director says. – I should add that the dancers were very artistic, they revealed all their talents. Girls and boys conveyed all emotions." According to him, they decided to use animation to give a second life to dance, to add surrealism and make the image more fun and, as befitting to the theme of the dance, playful. 

The Blitz members also told about their plans for the near future. On September 5, the BLITZ will hold annual enrollment to the studio, from 17.00 to 19.00 in the PADIYUN. On September 28, workshops by Francisco Gomez, who will come to Uzhgorod, are planned. And in December, Uzhgorod will certainly receive a new gift from the Blitz, as the group turns 25!
