At his final press conference, Valeriy Lunchenko said he would not mind to return to the office
Today, Valeriy Lunchenko, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration (the youngest in the history), said goodbye to journalists, and at the final press conference, he spoke about his priorities in the work as the "Governor", thanked them for their cooperation and gave advice to his successor.
Recall, today the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dismissed Lunchenko and appointed Vasyl Hubal as the acting head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
Valeriy Lunchenko, summing up his six-month work, said that he considers his greatest achievements to be maintaining peace in the region, progress in the establishment of industrial parks in the region, steps toward energy conservation and so on.
And also he confessed that he was a little jealous of his predecessor Oleksandr Ledyda, because "I would also like to open new projects every month, but instead every month I had to attend the burial of our soldiers."
Also he said that stands for de-politicization of the executive branch, and talking about his future work, he spilt the beans about... the ministerial portfolio. And he said that if the coalition decides and offers him to head the region again - he would be glad to continue working in the region.
