At night, at 00.30, officers of Uzhgorod city police reported that on Svoboda Avenue they had detained a city resident, who had sold for 120 UAH a dry chopped green substance similar to marijuana in an amount of about 2 grams. The substance was sent to the forensic research center at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office for examination.
The drug dealer was detained under Art.208 of the Crimnal Procedural Code of Ukraine (authorized officer shall be entitled to detain a person suspected of committing a crime, for which the punishment in the form of imprisonment is provided, without the approval of the investigating judge).
